DO458 is designed to support IT professionals and participants in learning how to automate and streamline network management with the help of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. It covers the foundational skills for Ansible’s application in networking, including the creation of basic playbooks and management of multi-vendor network environments.

- Network administration: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routers, switches, CLI
- Familiarity with at least one of the following network OS platforms: Cisco IOS, IOS XR, NX-OS, Juniper Junos or Arista EOS
- Recommended: Knowledge similar to Red Hat System Administration I (RH124)
Candidates can achieve this certification by passing the following exam(s).
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Network Automation exam (EX457)
