Logitrain is an Australian-owned IT training provider that has been operating since 2004. We deliver instructor-led training to help beginners enter the IT industry and help experienced professionals update their skills in fast-changing areas such as cloud, cyber security, networking, software testing and Microsoft technologies.
Our mission is simple: Training for IT Jobs. We do not just teach you to pass a certification exam. We equip you with the real world, hands-on skills that Australian employers are actually looking for. Whether you are just starting out in IT, making a career change, or looking to advance in your current role, Logitrain has a training pathway that gets you where you need to go.
We deliver IT courses across a wide range of specialisations including
Artificial Intelligence, Business Analysis, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Analysis, Database, Digital Marketing, IT, Machine Learning, Networking, Project Management, Programming, Software Testing and Web Development. Our courses are available face to face at our training centres in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, as live virtual instructor led training for participants anywhere in Australia, and as in-house customised training at your workplace.
What Makes Logitrain Different from Other IT Training Providers in Australia
There are plenty of IT training providers out there, so it is a fair question to ask: what sets Logitrain apart? The answer comes down to a few things that we genuinely believe no other provider in Australia matches.
First, our trainers are IT industry professionals who have worked in the field and bring that real world experience into every class. Our Founder and Senior Trainer holds a Double CCIE certification number 17081, which stands for Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert in both Enterprise Infrastructure and Service Provider. Fewer than one percent of networking professionals worldwide hold a CCIE certification. Having a double CCIE running your training courses is genuinely rare, and our students benefit from that level of expertise.
Second, we believe one learns IT by doing, not by watching. Our training centres are equipped with Cisco ISR routers, Cisco Catalyst switches, WLC wireless controllers, Microsoft workstations running Windows Server and Active Directory environments, Juniper firewalls, and cloud lab access. Hands on lab work makes up around 50 to 60 percent of course time. You leave knowing how to use the equipment you will encounter on the job, not just how to answer exam questions about it.
Third, we genuinely care about job outcomes. Our Job Ready Programs go well beyond training courses and certification training. They include dedicated career counselling with our recruitment specialist covering resume review, interview preparation, LinkedIn profile optimisation, and job search strategy tailored to the Australian IT market. We have successfully helped hundreds of graduates transition into IT roles across Australia.

Our Credentials and Industry Accreditations
Logitrain holds authorisations and partnerships with the leading IT vendors in the industry. These accreditations mean our training meets high training standards and our students sit authentic, globally recognised exams.
We are a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner, an Accredited PeopleCert ITIL Training Organisation and Approved ITIL Examination Organisation, a BCS Accredited Training Organisation, an ANZTB Accredited Training Provider, an ISTQB Accredited Training Provider, an LPI Silver Training Partner, a BeingCert Authorised Partner, a Logical Operations Partner, a National CyberWatch Centre Member, and a LAPT Partner among others. Full details of all our accreditations are available on our accreditations page.
We are also an authorised test centre for Pearson VUE, Prometric, Certiport, and Kryterion, meaning many of our students can sit their certification exams right here at our training centres in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane without needing to travel elsewhere. For vendors who offer online proctored exams we can help you get that booked as well.
Our preferred training supplier relationships span some of Australia’s most well known organisations across government, defence, finance, healthcare, education, and technology. We have delivered IT training to staff from organisations including the Australian Department of Defence, RAAF, Boeing Defence Australia, Raytheon Australia, Lockheed Martin Australia, Rheinmetall Defence Australia, Telstra, Optus, BHP, Rio Tinto, Toyota Australia, Reserve Bank of Australia, CPA Australia, NAB, ANZ, Monash Health, Queensland Health, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Geoscience Australia, Saab Australia, MinterEllison, News Corp, and many more. In-house training has been delivered at client premises for organisations including Townsville Catholic Education, Alliance SI, CPA Australia, the Department of Finance, Geoscience Australia, and Grampians Health among others. Over 2,500 Australian organisations have trusted Logitrain to train their IT staff since 2004.

Our Training Approach: Hands On, Practical, and Job Focused
At Logitrain, we have never believed that sitting in a room watching someone click through slides is a good way to learn IT. From day one we built our courses around hands on, practical learning with real equipment and real scenarios. The theory is there, but it supports the doing rather than replacing it.
We design courses to cover exam objectives while also teaching how technology works in real IT environments. When you walk out of a Logitrain course, you should put in hardwork to solidify the concepts learned and then should be able to sit your certification exam with confidence and actually do the job on day one. That is the standard we work towards.
We also understand that not everyone can drop everything and study full time. That is why we offer genuine flexibility in our scheduling. Full time weekday classes run Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Part time evening classes run Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Weekend classes run Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Live virtual training is available for all courses for participants anywhere in Australia or overseas.
Most of our courses include the certification exam fee in the course price. Our exam team will help you get your exam booked, and you can sit it within three months of completing your course. You can sit the exam at our authorised test centre, another authorised testing closer to you or via online proctored exam from home, whichever suits you best (depending on availability).

Logitrain by the Numbers
Over 20 years in the Australian IT training market has given us a track record we are genuinely proud of. Here is what that looks like in real terms:
We have been operating in Australia since 2004, making us one of the longest standing independent IT training providers in the country. More than 15,000 IT professionals have enrolled in our courses across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and via live virtual training from every state and territory in Australia. Over 2,500 Australian organisations have sent their staff to us for training, from small businesses right through to ASX listed corporations, government departments, and defence agencies.
Over 1,600 students have completed CCNA and networking certification courses with us. Over 1,100 students have chosen us to complete their ITIL certification training, over 350 have completed ISTQB software testing courses, and over 1,000 students have enrolled in our Job Ready Programs. Due to convenience and flexiblity, over 50% of our students now train via live virtual delivery, reflecting the genuine national reach of our training.
Our student satisfaction rating sits at 4.8 out of 5 based on post-course evaluations. We hold formal accreditations and authorised partner status with more than 20 leading IT vendors and certification bodies. We have training centres in three major Australian cities plus live virtual delivery for the rest of the country.
These are not numbers we plucked from thin air. They come directly from our student enrollment records and reflect two decades of showing up every day and doing the work properly.
