ISC2 certifications and courses teach cyber security, governance, risk, compliance, and protection skills for recognised credentials, stronger careers, and professional growth.
ISC2 certifications we deliver
We run the four ISC2 certifications most in demand with Australian employers. Each course is taught by an experienced instructor, includes the course material, and comes with our price beat guarantee. ISC2 exams are sat through Pearson VUE and are booked separately, and our team will walk you through how and when to register.
Our ISC2 portfolio includes CISSP, designed for security leaders responsible for designing, implementing and managing enterprise-wide security programs; CCSP, focused on professionals working with cloud security, ensuring the protection of data, applications and infrastructure in cloud environments; CSSLP, aimed at developers and security professionals building secure software throughout the development lifecycle; and SSCP, intended for hands-on practitioners responsible for the day to day operation, monitoring and administration of security systems. These certifications align closely with real job roles in the Australian market, helping you develop skills that employers actively look for.
By completing ISC2 training with Logitrain, you not only prepare for globally recognised certifications but also build practical skills that support your long term career growth, improve your ability to manage real security challenges, and help you stand out in a competitive cyber security job market across Australia.
- CISSP for security leaders who design and manage a whole security program.
- CCSP for professionals securing data and applications in the cloud.
- CSSLP for developers and security staff building secure software.
- SSCP for hands on practitioners running day to day security operations.

Foundational
The Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certification is the entry point for beginners with little or no experience in the field. It covers essential concepts such as security principles, network security, and basic operations, making it suitable for individuals starting their careers or transitioning into cybersecurity roles.
Associate (Practitioner Level)
At the associate level, certifications such as Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) focus on hands-on technical skills. These certifications validate the ability to monitor systems, manage security operations, and respond to incidents, making them ideal for professionals working in operational cybersecurity roles.
Professional (Advanced Security Roles)
Professional-level certifications like the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are designed for experienced practitioners. These credentials cover a broad range of security domains, including risk management, architecture, and governance, and are widely recognised for senior and leadership roles in cybersecurity.
Specialty & Expert
ISC2 also offers specialised certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) and Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP). These certifications focus on specific domains like cloud security, software security, and compliance, enabling professionals to demonstrate deep expertise in targeted areas.

Which ISC2 certification is right for you
ISC2 credentials form a ladder, so where you start depends on your experience
and the direction you want your career to take.
- Starting out: ISC2 also offers Certified in Cybersecurity
(CC) for newcomers to the field. If you are early in your career, ask our team about the right first step. - Hands on operations: SSCP suits IT administrators and security staff responsible for the day to day security of systems and networks.
- Cloud and software specialisations: CCSP proves cloud security skills, and CSSLP proves you can build security into every stage of software development.
- Leadership: CISSP is the senior credential for people who design, build and run an organisation’s security program. It requires five years of relevant experience, and there is an Associate of ISC2 pathway if you are not there yet.

Frequently asked questions about ISC2 training
What is ISC2 and what does it stand for?
ISC2 stands for the International Information System Security Certification Consortium. It is a not for profit membership body, founded in 1989, that creates and awards globally recognised information security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP and SSCP. It is one of the most respected names in the cyber security industry.
Which ISC2 certification should I start with?
It depends on your experience. If you are new to cyber security, an entry level credential such as Certified in Cybersecurity or the SSCP is a sensible start. If you have several years in security and want a senior credential, CISSP is the goal most people aim for. Speak with our team and we will point you to the course that fits your background.
What are the prerequisites for CISSP?
CISSP requires a minimum of five years of cumulative paid work experience in two or more of the eight CISSP domains. A relevant four year degree or an approved credential can satisfy one year of that requirement. If you do not yet have the experience, you can pass the exam and become an Associate of ISC2 while you build it.
Is the exam included in the course?
ISC2 exams are delivered through Pearson VUE and are booked and paid for separately from the course. Our team will explain how to register and can guide you on timing so you sit the exam while the material is fresh.
Where can I do ISC2 training in Australia?
We offer classroom training in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra, and live online training you can join from anywhere in Australia. Live online classes are real time with an instructor, not recordings.
How much does ISC2 training cost?
Pricing depends on the certification and the delivery method. Current prices are shown on each course above. Our price beat guarantee means if you find the same course advertised for less, we will beat it, so you can train with confidence that you are getting fair value.
