Want to start a cloud computing career in Australia?
Build practical cloud skills with instructor-led training.
Prepare for a cloud job with our Job Ready Programs.

This program is for people who want to work in cloud computing in Australia, whether you are starting out or moving across from IT support or another field. It is an intensive, bootcamp-style program covering both of the platforms Australian employers use most, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, along with the networking and vendor-neutral grounding that cloud work sits on.
You learn what the cloud actually is underneath the marketing: the service models, how deployment and hosting decisions are made, and how cost, security and availability trade off against each other. You learn how networks are built and addressed, since every cloud service is reached across one, and how Microsoft 365 is administered and governed. Depending on your program, you learn to design solutions on Amazon Web Services, covering compute, storage, databases, identity and resilient architecture, to manage Azure environments day to day with identities, storage, virtual machines, networking and monitoring, and to work across cloud platforms generally, including migration, automation, troubleshooting and managing what a cloud environment costs.
The program prepares you for certifications from Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, CompTIA and Cisco, from fundamentals through to associate level. The table below shows which certifications belong to each program.
In the internship, you work on simulated cloud tasks for fictional businesses. You might design a resilient setup for a small web application and explain your choices, work out why a virtual machine cannot be reached, set up users and permissions so people only have the access they need, plan how an on-premises file server could move to the cloud, review a bill and identify what is being wasted, or document a change so the support team can repeat it.
The skills in this program are relevant to roles such as cloud support engineer, cloud administrator, junior cloud engineer, systems administrator working with cloud services and IT support in cloud-based organisations.

Prices: All prices in the table include GST, and the amounts in brackets show the price before GST. Each program can be taken with or without certification exams.
Price with certification exams: This price covers your first attempt at each exam marked in the course table on your program’s page. Each exam has an exam timeframe of three months from finishing the related course. Complete our exam request form within that timeframe, and we will book your exam at an authorised test centre or through online proctoring where available for that exam.
Payment plan options: Ask our team about paying in instalments.
Upgrade to a higher program: You can upgrade by paying the difference in price, subject to intake availability.
Full-time and part-time training: Full-time training runs on weekdays. Part-time training runs on weeknights or weekends, and its duration depends on your class schedule and is confirmed in writing before you enrol.
Fast-track option for prior experience: If you have relevant experience, ask our team whether your training can be shortened.
Instructor-led training: Hands-on training in the classroom or live online. The courses in each program are shown in the course table on each program’s page.
Exam-style mock tests and certification practice questions: These help you prepare for your certification exams and assess your knowledge.
Career GearUP workshop: A group workshop covering current job market trends, job search techniques, interview techniques, and tips for writing your resume and cover letter.
ATS-friendly resume writing support: Many employers and recruiters use applicant tracking systems (ATS) to sort and search applications. We help you write a resume with a clear layout, standard headings and relevant keywords that these systems can read.
Tailored cover letter support: Help to write a cover letter tailored to the roles you apply for.
Remote internship: The internship is unpaid and for educational purposes. Its primary purpose is learning and skill development through practical exercises, simulated workplace scenarios and case studies. Depending on your field, this may include simulated projects or simulated support tickets based on fictional businesses. All projects and scenarios are simulated and are not real client work. Participants are not employees of Logitrain and do not perform productive work or contribute to Logitrain’s business operations. Anything participants create is used only for their learning and assessment, and participants may keep their work for their own portfolio. The internship does not lead to employment with Logitrain, and it runs after your training.
Internship completion certificate: If you complete all set internship tasks, you receive a certificate confirming the length of your internship.
LinkedIn profile review: Feedback on how your LinkedIn profile presents your skills to employers.
One-to-one Career GearUP coaching: Individual coaching sessions focused on your career plan, resume, LinkedIn profile and job applications, which can be used up to 6 months after your training is completed.
One-to-one mock interviews: Individual practice interviews with a Logitrain career consultant, with feedback on your answers to technical and behavioural questions.
Internship reference (email and phone): References are provided within 12 months of completing your internship. Each reference is for one employer, and we only provide references with your consent.
Job search and application coaching: A Logitrain career consultant coaches you through your job search. You learn how to find and assess advertised roles that suit your skills, and your consultant gives you feedback on the roles you choose and helps you tailor your resume and cover letter for each one. You submit your own applications, and Logitrain does not contact employers on your behalf. This coaching does not guarantee interviews or employment.
Certification exam retake (with exams): If you take Program 3 with certification exams and do not pass an exam, we cover one retake of that exam. The retake must be sat within six months of finishing the related course and follows the vendor’s retake rules, including any waiting periods.
Job Ready Programs are non-accredited training and do not lead to a nationally recognised qualification. Vendor certifications are issued by the vendors when you pass their exams.
† Certification exam included when you choose the price with certification exams. Select a course name to see its prerequisites, skills gained and course outline. Prices on individual course pages are for standalone courses and do not apply to Job Ready Programs.

Cloud work covers building and running the services an organisation depends on: setting up compute, storage, networking and identity, keeping environments secure and available, automating repetitive work, and investigating problems when something stops responding. At entry level most of it is support, administration and change work rather than designing from scratch.
Both, at least at the start. Amazon Web Services is the largest platform, Azure is very common in Australian organisations already running Microsoft, and plenty of employers use both. Learning one makes the other far easier, because the concepts carry across even though the names do not.
Not before starting the program, which builds the networking and fundamentals from scratch. Employers hiring for cloud roles do expect some grounding in networking and systems, and that is exactly what the earlier courses here provide.
Not to begin with. Scripting and infrastructure as code become important as you move into engineering roles, since automation is how cloud work scales, but administration and support roles rely more on understanding services and troubleshooting carefully.
It is an associate-level certification with no formal prerequisites, and it is the AWS certification Australian job advertisements name most often. It assumes you understand networking and systems concepts, which is why it sits after the foundation courses rather than at the start.
People usually start in cloud support or administration, then move into cloud engineering, solutions architecture, DevOps and platform engineering, or cloud security. Each of those has a certification path, and practical experience with real environments is what employers weigh most heavily after the first role.
