Microsoft 365 Certified AI Services Administrator Associate training in Australia
AB-650 Administering Microsoft 365 and AI Services Course
The AB-650 course prepares Microsoft 365 administrators to run the modern workplace, where Copilot and AI agents are now part of everyday administration. It maps to the Microsoft 365 Certified: AI Services Administrator Associate certification, the associate credential for professionals who configure, secure and govern Microsoft 365 tenants, workloads and the AI services layered on top, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot agents.
Across four days you work through the three areas that mirror the certification: configuring and managing Microsoft 365 tenants and workloads, governing and securing those tenants with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Microsoft Purview, and managing and securing AI services such as Copilot readiness, Copilot Search, connectors and agent lifecycle in Agent 365.
The course suits people already working across Microsoft 365 who now carry responsibility for Copilot rollout, data governance and agent administration. Microsoft has scheduled MS-102 to retire, and this certification is its named successor, so it is the current path for anyone who would previously have sat the MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator course.
If you are new to Microsoft 365 administration, the AB-900 Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals course is the better starting point, with this course as the associate step above it.
Training is hands on and delivered live in real time with a trainer, in the classroom or live online, so you practise real administration tasks rather than watch recordings. The official Microsoft exam fee is included, and you can sit the exam within three months of finishing the course. Talk to the Logitrain team to find the next AB-650 course date that suits you.
The Microsoft 365 Certified: AI Services Administrator Associate credential proves you can run a Microsoft 365 tenant in the way the role now works, where Copilot, agents and data governance sit alongside identity, Exchange, Teams and SharePoint. It is an associate level certification that employers recognise for senior administrator, Microsoft 365 engineer and cloud administrator roles, and it is the path Microsoft now points MS-102 candidates towards.
With Logitrain the official Microsoft exam fee is included, so the exam is not a separate cost. You receive digital course material to keep, every course is backed by the price beat guarantee, and as an authorised Pearson VUE test centre you can sit the exam at Logitrain, online, or at a local test centre. Train in person in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, or live online in real time anywhere in Australia.
There are no mandatory prerequisites for this course or the certification. Microsoft recommends that you come in with real administrative experience rather than starting from scratch.
You should have experience with Microsoft 365 workloads and Microsoft Entra ID, a working understanding of Microsoft Defender XDR, and some familiarity with Microsoft Graph PowerShell. If you are newer to Microsoft 365, start with the AB-900 Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals course and move up to this course afterwards.
Candidates can achieve this certification by passing the following exam.
- AB-650: Administering Microsoft 365 and AI Services, leading to Microsoft 365 Certified: AI Services Administrator Associate
You can book and sit the exam within three months of finishing your course. Sit it at any Pearson VUE test centre, or online through Pearson VUE online proctoring from a private space.
Exam format: multiple choice and multiple response questions, with a passing score of 700 on a scale of 1000. Microsoft does not publish a set number of questions or a time limit for this exam.
