ArchiMate 3 Practitioner Certification
The ArchiMate 3 Practitioner course is designed for individuals who already understand the basics of the ArchiMate® modeling language by attending the foundation course and want to deepen their skills.
The course covers advanced notation, terminology, structure, and concepts of ArchiMate, advanced modeling techniques and how to apply them in practice, the ability to use ArchiMate® effectively for creating enterprise architecture models with a a focus on comprehension and application.
Participants should be able to use ArchiMate® to model real-world architecture scenarios. It also prepares candidates for the ArchiMate® 3 Practitioner certification exam, which validates both their understanding and practical modeling ability.
ArchiMate Foundation level knowledge
Candidates can achieve this certification by passing the following exam(s).
- OGA-03s: ArchiMate® Practitioner Part 2
The certification exam can be registered and attempted within 3 months of course/module completion at Logitrain training centre on weekdays during normal business hours (excludes public holidays)

- Generic metamodel
- Relationships
- Motivation elements
- ArchiMate layers
- Professionals responsible for developing architecture artifacts using ArchiMate language notation
- Professionals who need to demonstrate practical usage and knowledge of the ArchiMate modelling language
- Language structure, including its advanced concepts
- Apply and use the generic metamodel
- Apply the set of relationships defined in the language
- Apply the Motivation elements of the language
- Apply the elements of the Strategy Layer
- Apply the elements of the Business Layer
- Apply the elements of the Application Layer
- Apply the elements of the Technology Layer
- Apply the concepts of cross-layer modeling
- Apply the elements of the Implementation and Migration Layer
- Apply the viewpoint mechanism
- Apply the Language customisation mechanisms
Take the certification exam within 3 months of course / module completion
Take the official certification exam at Logitrain, a local VUE test centre or online
Course material in digital format is included for flexibility and ease of use
