ArchiMate® 3 Foundation course provides a basic introduction to the modeling language, which is used for describing, analysing, and visualising enterprise architecture.
Key topics covered include the notation and symbols used in diagrams, terminology associated with the language, structure of the framework, including its layers and aspects, core concepts , such as elements, relationships, and viewpoints.
The course focuses on building knowledge and understanding of how ArchiMate® works. It is suitable for individuals who are new to the language or who need a formal foundation before progressing to practitioner level.
Completion of the course will help prepare candidates for the ArchiMate® 3 Foundation certification exam, which validates their comprehension of the language and its basic use in enterprise architecture modeling.
There are no prerequisites for the ArchiMate Foundation course.
Candidates can achieve this certification by passing the following exam(s).
- OGA-031: ArchiMate® Foundation Part 1
The certification exam can be registered and attempted within 3 months of course/module completion at Logitrain training centre on weekdays during normal business hours (excludes public holidays)
