Check Point Certified Multi-Domain Security Management Specialist – CCMS

Solid knowledge of Unix and/or Windows operating systems and TCP/IP networking

Check Point training/certifications: CCSA and CCSE. CCVS and CCAS are useful but not required

Candidates can achieve this certification by passing the following exam(s).

Multi-Domain Security Management Specialist

The certification exam can be registered and attempted within 3 months of course/module completion at the Logitrain training centre on weekdays during normal business hours (excludes public holidays)

• Understanding the architecture of Multi-Domain Security Management (MDSM) and its capacity to manage multiple security domains from a single Security Management Server (SMS).
• Configuring and implementing MDSM, including creating domains, managing domain objects, and utilizing the multi-domain log server.
• Implementing global policies and resolving MDSM server issues.
• Integrating MDSM with Check Point’s multi-domain management tools and other troubleshooting techniques.
• Managing policies across various domains using MDSM, including creating, editing, and applying policy packages.
• Gaining comprehensive knowledge of the Security Management Server (SMS), including installation, configuration, and management.
• Learning about SMS features such as user management, auditing, and reporting.
• Troubleshooting common issues in MDSM, including those related to policy management, domain communication, and the Security Management Serve
