What each program includes

Prices: All prices in the table include GST, and the amounts in brackets show the price before GST. Each program can be taken with or without certification exams.

Price with certification exams: This price covers your first attempt at each exam marked in the course table on your program’s page. Each exam has an exam timeframe of three months from finishing the related course. Complete our exam request form within that timeframe, and we will book your exam at an authorised test centre or through online proctoring where available for that exam.

Payment plan options: Ask our team about paying in instalments.

Upgrade to a higher program: You can upgrade by paying the difference in price, subject to intake availability.

Full-time and part-time training: Full-time training runs on weekdays. Part-time training runs on weeknights or weekends, and its duration depends on your class schedule and is confirmed in writing before you enrol.

Fast-track option for prior experience: If you have relevant experience, ask our team whether your training can be shortened.

Instructor-led training: Hands-on training in the classroom or live online. The courses in each program are shown in the course table on each program’s page.

Exam-style mock tests and certification practice questions: These help you prepare for your certification exams and assess your knowledge.

Career GearUP workshop: A group workshop covering current job market trends, job search techniques, interview techniques, and tips for writing your resume and cover letter.

ATS-friendly resume writing support: Many employers and recruiters use applicant tracking systems (ATS) to sort and search applications. We help you write a resume with a clear layout, standard headings and relevant keywords that these systems can read.

Tailored cover letter support: Help to write a cover letter tailored to the roles you apply for.

Remote internship: The internship is unpaid and for educational purposes. Its primary purpose is learning and skill development through practical exercises, simulated workplace scenarios and case studies. Depending on your field, this may include simulated projects or simulated support tickets based on fictional businesses. All projects and scenarios are simulated and are not real client work. Participants are not employees of Logitrain and do not perform productive work or contribute to Logitrain’s business operations. Anything participants create is used only for their learning and assessment, and participants may keep their work for their own portfolio. The internship does not lead to employment with Logitrain, and it runs after your training.

Internship completion certificate: If you complete all set internship tasks, you receive a certificate confirming the length of your internship.

LinkedIn profile review: Feedback on how your LinkedIn profile presents your skills to employers.

One-to-one Career GearUP coaching: Individual coaching sessions focused on your career plan, resume, LinkedIn profile and job applications, which can be used up to 6 months after your training is completed.

One-to-one mock interviews: Individual practice interviews with a Logitrain career consultant, with feedback on your answers to technical and behavioural questions.

Internship reference (email and phone): References are provided within 12 months of completing your internship. Each reference is for one employer, and we only provide references with your consent.

Job search and application coaching: A Logitrain career consultant coaches you through your job search. You learn how to find and assess advertised roles that suit your skills, and your consultant gives you feedback on the roles you choose and helps you tailor your resume and cover letter for each one. You submit your own applications, and Logitrain does not contact employers on your behalf. This coaching does not guarantee interviews or employment.

Certification exam retake (with exams): If you take Program 3 with certification exams and do not pass an exam, we cover one retake of that exam. The retake must be sat within six months of finishing the related course and follows the vendor’s retake rules, including any waiting periods.

Job Ready Programs are non-accredited training and do not lead to a nationally recognised qualification. Vendor certifications are issued by the vendors when you pass their exams.

What does a business analyst actually do?

A business analyst works out what a business needs and makes sure the right thing gets built. That means talking to people who often disagree, understanding how the work happens now, writing requirements clearly enough for a delivery team to act on, and staying involved as things change. Much of the job is listening carefully and asking the question nobody has asked yet.

Do I need a technical background or coding skills?

No. A business analyst needs to understand enough technology to hold a sensible conversation with developers, not to write the code. Clear writing, structured thinking and comfort with people carry far more weight, and the technical grounding you need is built into the program.

What is the difference between a business analyst and a project manager?

The analyst is concerned with what should be built and why, the project manager with how and when it gets delivered. On smaller teams one person sometimes does both, which is why the top program includes a project management foundation.

Why is Tableau part of a business analysis program?

Because analysts are constantly asked to show evidence, not just describe it. Being able to pull numbers into a chart that makes a bottleneck obvious is one of the fastest ways to get a decision made, and Australian employers increasingly expect analysts to be comfortable with data.

Does a business analyst work in agile or waterfall projects?

Both, often at the same organisation. Agile teams need analysts who can write user stories and work sprint by sprint, while larger programs still run structured methods with formal requirements and sign-off. The program covers both so you are not limited to one kind of employer.

Where can a business analysis career lead?

Analysts move into senior and lead analyst roles, then often into product ownership, project or program management, or consulting. Some specialise by domain, such as banking, health or government, and domain knowledge tends to be what lifts pay over time.
