As I was scrolling down through the news feed in my social media account, my eyes stopped on the advertisement posted by Logitrain as jobs guarantee IT training in Australia. I was excited to see the advertisement and was eager to know what actually it is and how can I be benefitted from it. Describing about the qualification, I had completed my Masters of Technology in Software Engineering degree from Sydney, Australia. Due to some reasons I haven’t been working in my field. I had no idea how to start my career in information and technology industry. So, I decided to give it a try and called the Logitrain team and discussed about how to start my career in IT industry. They analyzed my university degree and suggested me to go for a software testing role to start my career with. They had a plan and package as per the price and time schedule to complete the different courses for IT certifications. I chose STG2 plan from them and started to get trained for the certification.
They had a plan of 2 months of classes and 2 months of internship for me. I had a physical classes and virtual classes from home. I did the physical classes in one of their branches in Sydney while I did other remaining classes virtual from home and prepared for the exam. I had two classes per week as per the Melbourne time. I took three courses from home virtually. The virtual classes were good as there were other participants as well. We were joined together through zoom. The classes were effective and were started on time. Some of the days, the classes didn’t started on time because of the participants not being able to be online on time.
The training experience for me personally is good. I attended all the classes and completed on time. I along with other participants and the course instructor of the course had good communication with each other during the classes. Every topic of the courses was described with clear understanding. For me the course was completed one week late because of some reason. However, all other things went well during the online training classes.
After the classes’ sessions, I had two months of an internship with Logitrain. My internship also started as per the schedule with two days per week working from home for completing the task they provided me to do. The internship went well. My doubts have been cleared. I had a continuous communication with the trainers and the mentors who were there for me. Whenever I had a problem I used to email them and they used to reply with the answers of my questions. I had a great experience doing an internship with Logitrain by completing the tasks available for me for two months or eight weeks. My internship was arranged as working from home with Logitrain which included lots of studying and writing and finally submitting them as per the content. The structure of an internship was effective as I got a change to increase my knowledge on the sector that I was wishing to work for. I had different articles related to software testing to study and answer the questions. I also had different topics to study which were totally related to my training.
Overall, I had an amazing experience of working from home as an intern with Logitrain. I never had an experience of working from home. So, for me it was a great training experience as I got a chance to develop my knowledge and skills in software testing.
